About

Creative pursuits, like leisure and recreation activities can be used to assist ‘brain-training’ in all ages. Recent medical research has highlighted the ability of the brain to ‘change itself’, by growing and reforming through a process known as neuro-plasticity. Leisure and recreation activities are known to assist the neural pathways in the brain to develop and change. Learn about the importance of this process in this exciting workshop.

You will learn:

  • the importance of brain neuro-plasticity
  • strategies and techniques to assist brain training in all ages
  • the values of mindfulness interventions and techniques on impulsive behaviours, fuelled by anger and stress.
