HBC Community Engagement
The Humanistic Buddhism Centre (HBC) has maintained a strong foundation in community engagement and has expanded scope and outreach through various new in-person and digital events.
The Sunday Check-Ins are a series of sessions focused on self reflection, exploration, networking and Dharma practice that welcome anyone interested in joining in. Some of the sessions are recorded so that participants can revisit them and so that those who were unable to attend at the time can enjoy the sessions at their own convenience.
Director of the Humanistic Buddhism Centre Venerable Dr Juewei is invited to present public talks to various forums around the world. Whether a host or a panelist, she shares her wisdom and insights on topics pertaining to Humanistic Buddhism and the modern world. The Humanistic Buddhism Centre is proud to collaborate with distinguished guests and partner organisations to explore topics ranging from ‘Women in Buddhism’ to ‘Ethics in Today’s Digital World’.
