Academic Entry Requirements

You will need either a Bachelor degree with a major in humanities or social sciences OR relevant work experience and professional training of at least 3 years.


Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, or Master of Arts Degrees

You can graduate with a Graduate Certificate degree by completing 4 subjects, a Graduate Diploma by completing 8 subjects, and a Master of Arts by completing 12 subjects in a program. Each degree in each program involves certain compulsory subjects and a number of elective subjects. 
 

Non-Award Study

You can study single subjects at NTI without having to enrol in a formal degree. Contact NTI Enrolments for further information at enrolments@nantien.edu.au

 

English Language Requirements

You will need to demonstrate a minimum level of written and oral communication in English, either through previous studies or a test of English language skills. Read more about our English Language Requirements.

 

Fees, FEE HELP & Scholarships

Each subject requires payment of $1250 for Australian Domestic Student or $1600 for International Students before the subject starts. Domestic students may be eligible for FEE-HELP, an Australian Government loan scheme that allows students to defer the cost of their study.

 

Nan Tien Institute also provides a limited number of scholarships to cover the cost of subject enrolments.

Attendance & Location

Subjects are delivered by intensive 5-day workshops or over 2 weekends, followed by submission of work online. Workshops are delivered at NTI’s campus in Wollongong. Accommodation is available at the adjoining Nan Tien Temple.
