Academic Entry Requirements
You will need either a Bachelor degree with a major in humanities or social sciences OR relevant work experience and professional training of at least 3 years.
Non-Award Study
You can study single subjects at NTI without having to enrol in a formal degree. Contact NTI Enrolments for further information at enrolments@nantien.edu.au
English Language Requirements
You will need to demonstrate a minimum level of written and oral communication in English, either through previous studies or a test of English language skills. Read more about our English Language Requirements.
Fees, FEE HELP & Scholarships
Each subject requires payment of fees on the consensus date of each subject. Domestic students may be eligible for FEE-HELP, an Australian Government loan scheme that allows students to defer the cost of their study.
Nan Tien Institute also provides a limited number of scholarships to cover the cost of subject enrolments.

Attendance & Location
Subjects are delivered by intensive 5-day workshops or over 2 weekends, followed by submission of work online. Workshops are delivered at NTI’s campus in Wollongong. Accommodation is available at the adjoining Nan Tien Temple.

ABOUT NAN TIEN INSTITUTE
Nan Tien Institute (NTI) is a private, not for profit, government accredited higher education provider offering studies in the areas of Buddhist studies, health and wellbeing, within an environment that incorporates contemplative education.
NTI offers postgraduate programs in Applied Buddhist Studies, Health and Social Wellbeing, Humanistic Buddhism, and Mental Health as well as customised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs and special interest subjects across the areas of meditation, mindfulness and health.
