2021 Virtual Graduation

Nan Tien Institute (NTI) are delighted to invite our graduates and their loved ones to attend NTI’s Virtual 2021 Graduation, where we will be celebrating the accomplishments of our 2021 and 2020 graduands.
We are proud of and delighted by the achievement our students have made completing their studies and graduating under extraordinary circumstances.
Our Virtual Graduation will be held live, with some of the speaker messages presented as pre-recorded videos. The event is scheduled to go for 90 minutes, and students can invite loved ones by sharing the registration link.
Speakers
NTI are excited to announce Roshi Joan Halifax as the key note speaker for this event. She is a medical anthropologist, Zen Buddhist master, and global pioneer in the field of compassion, healthcare, and Buddhism. Roshi Joan Halifax is the Founder and Abbot of Upaya Zen Centre in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA, and has written numerous books on death and dying, compassionate action, and spiritual practice.
The ceremony will also include a series of other speakers, including:
- NTI President, Professor Denise Kirkpatrick
- Abbess of Nan Tien Temple, Venerable Manko
- NTI Dean of Studies, Professor Rodney Vickers
- NTI Graduate (Student Speaker), Darren Wagner
