Academic Support

NTI’s Academic Support Officers are available to assist students seeking to improve their academic skills and develop effective study habits. Assistance is available in the following areas:

  • Assessment requirements and structure
  • Argument development
  • Academic language
  • NTI Harvard referencing
  • Time management and planning
  • Academic integrity and Plagiarism

Workshop When Details
Mastering the NTI Referencing Style

Monday 1 September, 2pm (AEST)

Workshop may run up to 1.5 hours.

This workshop consists of activities designed to teach you how to format standard and non-standard references at NTI. Non-standard references include canonical sources and sources whose authors have names with non-English religious titles. You are also encouraged to bring your own referencing attempts for sources used in your assessments so that these can be discussed (and potentially refined) as a group. The aim of this workshop is to equip you with the skills to use the NTI Harvard Referencing Guide confidently for sources that you will encounter throughout your studies.
